With a modern approach, Carmen Gutierrez is an omnifaith minister who brings an authentic and inspiring perspective to any type of commemoration. Honoring Your Culture & Traditions, BIPOC, LGBTQ, she specializes in a variety of weddings and special events, including non-denominational, civil, traditional and LGBTQ friendly ceremonies. Carmen is relatable, authentic, caring, and wonderful to work with. She will take the time to get to know you in the months, weeks, and days leading up to your service. With Carmen as the officiant, your ceremony will be personal, powerful, and purely memorable.

Preparing for your personalized ceremony:
The most important part of officiating a wedding is to wholeheartedly celebrate the love and unity of the couple, to the very best of my ability. I interview the couple together, and then both individuals separately in our first sessions. It is an honor to symbolically unite the two of you from individuals into your future together as a married couple.
As an officiant, I love collecting stories from the couple – talking to you about how you met, what you love about each other, and what you want for your lives in the union on the road ahead. If approved by the couple, I enjoy speaking to the friends and family of the couple to help get a sense of where you each came from. This is to weave in more personalized viewpoints and to create the most memorable and special ceremony.
As your officiant, I provide vast emotional and physical energy to be present and available to you and your guests for your special day, as well as for all the events leading up to it, like rehearsals and the meetings before-hand. Once you choose to work with me, I will be available via text and phone call, outside of our scheduled meetings to ensure that you are completely held at all hours in this life event. I offer couples counseling and genuine reassurance to you so that your officiating ceremony is one less thing you have to worry about when preparing for your wedding.
WEDDING SERVICES
Officiated Ceremony $300
The ceremony lasts from 25 mins to 1 hour depending on the couple's desires. Services include assistance in crafting vows, personalizing the ceremony + offering guidance through building a preliminary outline with the couple. During the preliminary interview, we thoroughly discuss dreams and visions and bring them to fruition. We add specific spiritual values, personal stories, declarations of love & unity to provide the fullest and most meaningful officiating ceremony on your special day. Carmen also helps you prepare your marriage license beforehand (if needed) and hand delivers it to the local county clerk for you.
Officiated Ceremony + Couples Reading $450 This package includes all of the above plus a special customized and personalized couples reading. Carmen does an individual reading for each future spouse, and then one reading for the couple. This takes place before the ceremony and is approximately a 2-3 hour reading. For the individual readings, Carmen channels guidance from the highest vibration and shares verbatim what is most desired to be shared with you from your personal higher council. In the couples reading, Carmen channels for both of you at once where she answers your questions, helps you confront challenges (if any), offers solutions, soothes any natural concerns, gives an overall trajectory of their path together, and assures the highest and best outcome.
Officiated Ceremony + Couples Reading + Personalized Ceremonial Music Performance $700 This package includes all of the above plus ceremonial music curation for your ceremony. The ceremonial music plays lightly in the background as a soundscape to your special day and can include guitar, voice, beatbox and for an additional cost- harp, cello, piano, and/or halo drum. If your ceremony will be intimate, we can discuss a discount on additional instruments! This service also includes playing a requested song (couples special love song or an original song upon request). Carmen provides a sound system for amplified song play and spoken vows upon request.
